How do I create an account?▾
Visit our signup page and enter your email address and a secure password. You can start with our free plan and upgrade anytime.
How do I connect my domain?▾
After signing up, go to your dashboard and add your domain. We'll provide DNS records to point to our servers. DNS changes typically propagate within 24-48 hours.
Do I need a domain to get started?▾
No! Free plan users get a toolboxhosting.com subdomain. You can add a custom domain when you're ready by upgrading to a paid plan.
Managing Your Hosting
How do I upload my website files?▾
You can upload files via SFTP using the credentials provided in your dashboard. We support all major FTP clients like FileZilla and Cyberduck.
Do you offer SSL certificates?▾
Yes! All paid plans include free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates that are automatically provisioned and renewed.
How often are backups taken?▾
Backup frequency depends on your plan: Starter gets weekly backups, Growth gets daily backups, and Business gets daily + offsite backups.
Email Setup
How do I set up email?▾
Purchase an email plan from the billing page, then access your webmail at mail.toolboxhosting.com. You can also configure IMAP/SMTP on any email client.
What are the IMAP/SMTP settings?▾
IMAP: mail.toolboxhosting.com, port 993 (SSL). SMTP: mail.toolboxhosting.com, port 465 (SSL) or 587 (STARTTLS). Use your full email address as the username.
Can I migrate my existing emails?▾
Yes, you can import emails from your previous provider using IMAP migration. Contact support if you need assistance with the migration process.
Billing & Payments
What payment methods do you accept?▾
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) processed securely through Stripe.
Can I change my plan?▾
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan anytime from the billing page. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period.
What is your refund policy?▾
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all new paid subscriptions. Contact support within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund.
